As an HR Business Partner at Kootenai Health, you will provide human resources consultation and support to a designated business unit, utilizing your knowledge of various human resources functions, including staffing, compensation, benefits, training and employee relations to provide tactical HR support to department leadership. You will consult with department leadership in the strategic planning process and development of human resources strategies that support the department's business needs, acting as a liaison to other human resources functions when necessary.

Core Responsibilities:
- Consults with business unit management in the strategic planning process and development of human resources strategies that support the unit's business needs
- Acts as a liaison to other human resources functions when necessary
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree with a focus on human resource management or related field required; Associate’s degree and 4 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 1 year of direct work experience in employee relations or as a Human Resources Generalist required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Demonstrates knowledge of laws and regulations related to human resource management.
- Demonstrates ability to effectively operate a variety of software programs related to the technical competencies of this position
