Courier Driver

Position Summary

Transports supplies including blood, cash, specimens and pharmaceuticals between the hospital and contracted doctor offices. Responsible for loading and unloading the supplies.

 

Responsibilities

•    Ensures timely, accurate and safe delivery

•    Maintains transportation vehicle

•    Performs other related duties as assigned

•    Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field 

•    Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function

•    Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

 

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications

•    High school education or equivalent preferred

•    Valid driver's license with no restrictions

•    3 years driving experience required

•    Safe driving record

•    Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding the governing of motor vehicles in the State of Idaho

 

Working Conditions

•    Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs

•    Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position

•    Typical equipment used in a clinical job

•    Must be able to stoop, crouch or bend

•    Must be able to push, pull, or transport heavy equipment
